Uncompromising is the keyword for D 870 - the big high-end reference speaker from Jamo. The cabinet combines the best of Danish furniture traditions with a non-resonance NCC front (Non Coloration Compound) - a technique patented by Jamo. Jamo uses the finest veneer for the D 870.

The characteristic copper plug of the woofer has two primary functions: it minimizes distortion because no dust cap is needed, and it leads heat away from the magnet system. The extremely lightweight of the magnesium diaphragm and increased rigidity provide a very fast and precise woofer/midrange. D 870 has a specially developed tweeter and an extra 61/2" woofer to give additional weight to the deep bass. The result is three drivers which unite in providing a uniquely harmonious and integrated sound picture.
