Being comprehensive and detailed would normally suggest a conflict. But not in the D 6LCR. It can reproduce an F-14 jet at takeoff at levels that ought to require ear protection. At the same time, it retains detail reproduction that makes it possible to hear Tom Cruise asking permission for fly-by.

This is due to the unique 5-driver construction with a 61/2" woofer on each side of the vertical array of midranges and tweeter. A construction that also solves another problem. In contrast to most other THX approved speaker systems, which are mounted vertically to achieve optimal sound quality, D 6LCR is mounted horizontally. This provides more discreet sound performance and minimizes the distance between the speaker and the screen.

With D 6 LCR there is no doubt that the dialogue and the effects come from the screen itself.
